The College in its quest to enhance the capacity, skills and competence of Examiners and Trainers in accredited training institutions organized a 3-Day Training of Trainers Workshop with the theme “Current Examination Methods” from Wednesday June 24, 2015 to Saturday June 27, 2015 at Golden Tulip Hotel & Conference Centre, Festac Town, Lagos.
The workshop brought together renowned medical specialists in the various discipline of Medicine for rigorous professional interaction on a wide range of issues on examination methods. Amongst the topics discussed were Assessment of Theoretical Methods in relation to Clinical Practice, Clinical Summary & Reasoning Format, Relevance of Simulation Skills in Training, Computer Based Test, Curriculum Development and Curriculum Evaluation, Importance of Credit Units System, Ethical Issues, Plagiarism and so on.

The workshop which was organised by the Docimology and Evaluation Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. J. A. Owa had 538 participants in attendance.
