Dr. Sule

Dr. Salami Suberu Sule is a medical doctor, public health physician, medical educator, human resource practitioner, and public administrator. He holds a Master of Medical Education (MMEd) degree from the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK, and a Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN).
Dr. Sule is the Acting College Registrar and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the NPMCN, Lagos. He oversees the College’s operations and administrative structures in these strategic leadership roles. He champions the College’s Vision to produce medical and dental specialists of the highest standards who will provide world-class teaching, research, and healthcare services.
He is deeply aligned with the Mission of the College: to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate postgraduate programs that produce high-quality, competent, and dedicated specialists committed to lifelong learning, continuing professional development, and optimal healthcare delivery across Nigeria and beyond.
As Deputy Registrar (Academic), he oversees the administrative aspect and execution of clinical and non-clinical postgraduate medical examinations—including Fellowship, Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, and diploma programs. Previously, he served as Deputy Registrar, Senate and Governing Board Affairs (SGBA), managing certification and governance-related responsibilities.
Dr. Sule’s professional competencies span postgraduate medical education assessment and evaluation, curriculum development and review, instructional design, educational research, e-learning (Moodle LMS), and quality assurance. He is proficient in integrating enterprise software and process improvement systems to enhance educational outcomes. With a leadership approach grounded in integrity, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement, he continuously advances best practices in medical education governance.
His attributes include meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative leadership style that fosters innovation and professional growth. With over 16 years of extensive experience in postgraduate medical education and administration, Dr. Sule is recognized for his organizational excellence, leadership acumen, and commitment to academic rigor.

He has authored 24 peer-reviewed publications and two books. Dr. Sule was born in Lagos, is in his mid-fifties, and hails from Etsako-West Local Government Area in Edo State. He currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria, with his children.
