A delegation led by College President, Dr. Rasheed Arogundade, FMCR, PNMC paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, FMCOG on Monday November 23, 2015.
Speaking during the visit, the College President while congratulating the Minister on his appointment noted that the Minister had always demonstrated exceptional qualities as a leader. He said his robust academic experience as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a former Provost of College of Medicine, a former Vice Chancellor, a committed Fellow and Examiner of the College, combined with his reputation as a seasoned administrator has prepared him for great services to the nation.
In his response, the Minister thanked the College for the gesture and reiterated his commitment to repositioning the health sector by ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective health services to the nation.
